Happy summer! I hope you are staying cool and enjoying the sunshine wherever you are. Today, I’m excited to share a fantastic summer haul from Unbound Merino. I have loved watching Unbound Merino continue to expand their product line, and their newest pieces are no exception. I will continue to style these all year round so be sure to follow if you want more content like this!
Before we get started, you might want to check out my Unboxing video for this Unbound Merino Haul combined with a few pieces from wool&, Simply Merino, and Woolly Clothing, too. Besides just opening each piece, I also include videos and photos of my try-ons as well, so I think you will enjoy it! It’s been a LONG time since I’ve posted a video, and I’d love to get back to posting minimalism content, but I now have a full time job so my time for YouTube has been “minimalized” too. I already own a few pieces of Unbound Merino, so if you are interested in checking out my reviews, you can click here: Unbound Merino Wool for Travel and Unbound Merino Cashmere Cardigan Review. I especially love the Unbound Merino Travel Pants, and spoiler alert: the new colors are amazing! (Here’s a pic of my original pair of black Unbound Merino Travel Pants….I LOVE them!)

Unbound Merino’s designs are super practical with an emphasis on travel-friendly wool fabric and versatile styles that can be worn absolutely anywhere. Their motto: Timeless Style & Superior Performance has absolutely been true for the pieces I have tried. Not only do they fit and feel great, but they have held up beautifully to my rough-and-tumble lifestyle (ie: by that I mean I do not baby my clothing and I spill coffee on most things I own. Just wanted to clarify as I feel like the above sentence almost indicates that I am one of those amazing wool-wearers who travels 24/7 and climbs mountains. Although that is very much not the case, I am still rough on my clothes and need them to hold up to plenty of heavy use!)

Side-note: My adventure into minimalism is what led me to wearing wool almost exclusively. I realized that wool was the ultimate minimalist clothing solution, because you can wear it so many times without washing, it’s durable, easy-care, and timeless, rather than trendy. First up, this gorgeous Women’s Slim Merino Crew Neck in Magenta. I was just a little nervous about the “Slim” part about this shirt, so I went up to an XL. I really like the fit at this size for me, since it’s not skin tight but it’s still a nice flattering fit. The shirt is soft and comfy and I absolutely LOVE the magenta color! This looks really great with the Travel Pants or shorts and is also a great piece to layer with leggings and skirts year-round.

I was super excited about the Women’s Lightweight Travel Shorts in Forest because I live in South Carolina and the heat is intense, especially this summer. Knowing that the Travel Pants were working great for me in a size Large, I decided to size up an XL in the shorts, hoping to gain just a little bit of extra length! I love the way these fit and feel. They are super lightweight and super cool. I’ll be curious to see how well they do wrinkle-wise, but I think these would be perfect for travel!

Not to get too dramatic, but I think I have found my favorite tank top. The Women’s Merino Wool Rib Tank in black is the perfect stretchy, scoopy, flattering tank and it’s cool and comfy even in the South Carolina heat. I am not going to lie, I wore this most of last week, and true to form, I haven’t had to wash it yet! There is not much that doesn’t look good with a classic scoop tank and this is a staple that will be going on many adventures with me year round.

Moving on to the best wool work pants I have found: the Unbound Merino Travel Pants. I already knew that these pants were going to be great because I own them in black and love them for work. One thing I have learned from the fashion creators I follow, is this if you keep all of your pants in the black category, you kind of look like you are wearing the same thing all the time. For example, you might think you are opening up your options by owning bootcut, leggings, jeans, and joggers but if they are all solid black they will kind of create the same look. To really open up your wardrobe, you need to go with a more dramatic color contrast. As someone who typically sticks with winter colors, I thought this rich tan was a great option!

The perfect blend of comfortable and professional, the Unbound Merino Travel Pants are soft, breathable, and wrinkle-resistant. Plus,I love the fact that you can choose your inseam. I went with a Large in 28 inseam which gives me a great fit and length. I have kind of a long waist, but my legs aren’t particularly long, so these are perfect. Just like the shorts, these have a comfortable, stretchy waistband that is perfect for layering and for, well, travel! I have become more and more resistant to wearing “real pants”, BUT pull-on pants that perform like traditional dress pants are an excellent compromise.

Last but not least, the piece I was most excited and also nervous about, the Women’s Merino Tie Dress. I received this dress in size Large in the color Charcoal. This dress is definitely coming on my August beach vacation. I love the playful asymetrical cut, the feminine detail, and the flattering tank top style. It’s super comfortable and the color is the perfect neutral. I probably could have used a size up in the skirt (I’m definitely a pear shape) but I’m not uncomfortable with the tightness. The great part about the tie is that you have the freedom to adjust it as you like, so I was able to over a little farther to create a more flattering waist line. I do wish it were a smidge longer (I’m 5’6″) but it’s not a deal-breaker and I will probably wear a pair of bike shorts underneath for modesty. I love the look of this dress and the fact that it really stands apart from most of the merino wool options in the category right now. I really feel like Unbound Merino has nailed it with the latest additions to their product line, and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next!

This skirt is CRAZY comfy and the perfect sillouette. I know some people will hate the lack of pockets, but I don’t care about pockets (as ya’ll know, I carry a Sash Bag everywhere so I don’t need pockets particularly).

By the way, I do not have a coupon code but I was told if you sign up for emails, they will send one.
Matching tops to this skirt was incredibly easy. I don’t have much brown in my closet, but this nice rich brown color is easy to pair with black, white, denim, navy, and I can’t wait to try it with more patterns later. It has pockets and includes a buckle at the back giving you easy adjustability. The brass buttons are also vintage!

The fabric and construction feel quite sturdy. I don’t think this skirt is prone to wrinkles, but I had stuffed in my duffel bag with absolutely no neatness or effort and it came out looking less slightly ruffled. But I would say it’s not super wrinkle-prone either.
Thank you again, Revivall Clothing for gifting me the gorgeous

The weight of this blanket is surprising. It’s thick, beautifully woven, and substantially warm. As we know, the 100% wool has amazing properties such as natural breathability, temp regulation, dust mite resistance, and mildew resistance!

These are truly the kind of toys I would have bought my babies because we absolutely loved imaginary play and cooking. Every single piece of fruit is really a work of art. The variation of color is incredible and each piece is just so beautiful!
Curious about how Wool Roots sources their wool?

The Oliver Charles Winter Cardigan is the warmest sweater I have ever owned (It’s made of 100% YAK!). It’s also lusciously soft and easy to wear. I would describe it was the weight of a cardigan with the warmth of a coat, and it’s super versatile. Mine is in teal and I love the color.

We have wildly fluctuating temps here in SC so my wardrobe has to be on its toes at all time.

When I first saw this shirt, I thought it might be black and white, which is what I was really hoping. Although it’s actually navy, I think it really does pass for black and white, and I will probably treat it as such and pair with black pants whenever I feel so inclined.
As soon as I saw this shirt, I wanted to pair it with my
I wanted to share this photo for your reference. Although this isn’t the way I would style these pieces, I thought it would help to show the generous length of this top! This shirt is a great option for my tall-torso friends because it runs nice and long in my opinion.
Next, I had to try this top with a shacket. I loved this combo and will definitely be wearing this to fall events in the next couple months! I think the colors look great together and the stripes really pop.
I decided to try this shirt with some looser, yoga style pants. The shirt tucks in great and I feel like adding the longer necklace gives this outfit an upgraded look. I would also love to try this with a scarf.
I also wanted to try this outfit with my
So all in all, I am wearing black, grey, brown, and olive in this outfit, and you know what, I think it really works! I used to really stick with black on black or brown with brown but the more I style different pieces the more I branch out beyond the traditional neutral “rules”.
Again, just sharing a pic untucked for you guys to see the generous length of this style! It’s a little too snug on my tummy for me to enjoy this look, but if I sized up it might work well with leggings.
Next up, I thought this might be a fun piece to layer with a sleeveless dress. I love it over the stripes!
I am really impressed with these striped shirts from Simply Merino. The line of colors is so pretty and the fit and feel of these pieces is super nice. I do feel they run slim and tall so keep that in mind. I’m also very happy to offer a coupon code for my followers. You may use code: obsessed10 for 10% off your purchase. I hope you enjoy shopping at Simply Merino and please let me know if you decide to try these lovely stripes!

I want to say a heartfelt “thank you” to Not Perfect Linen for gifting me the items in this review! As always, it’s a joy to work with a quality brand like this, on a project that is so delightful. Every interaction I have had with the company has been a pleasure, and I would love to continue our partnership going forward. Since I hadn’t owned much linen in the past, I was looking for items that would have a lot of versatility and could be used across all seasons. I also wanted to be able to mix and match as much as possible. With all the color and style options, it was so hard to narrow down my favorites. I knew I wanted a tank top and skirt that could be worn together as a set so I decided to pair up the
If you are afraid to wear black in the summer, I just got to say, this lightweight linen set is just as cool and breezy as it can be and I think black is perfectly chic all year round.
I also so love the snaps on this skirt and tank. They are super thick and sturdy to snap and unsnap and I like the look of them, too. The linen is soft, and fairly thick, without being stuffy at all. The breezy feel is absolutely lovely.
Here is the tank top from the Menorca Lounge set paired up with the Marseille Skirt. I love this combo as well.
The Porto 2 is quite wide set in the back, which I do think gives it a dressy look. My bra straps do tend to show once in awhile, but I’m not too worried about it. If you are looking for less of a scoop, you might try one of the

Speaking of Menorca, I think
Something else I wanted to point out, Not Perfect Linen does create your items on order, so there will be a wait for them. It might depend on the time of year for how long the wait will be. However, they do have a

I am really happy with the color!
Another tip,
This dress is really a showstopper and I think it’s totally appropriate for a dressier function. I think I could have easily worn this to my recent summer wedding that was cocktail dress code.
The sash is built into this dress and attached at the back of the dress. Beneath the tie, the waist has a thick elastic that is similar to the waist on the skirt.
I absolutely love my haul from
